Based on a free reading of CRACK WARS: Literature, Addiction, Mania (1992), a book by philosopher Avital Ronell, GLOBAL WAR SUBURB SATELLITE continues the poetic and musical dialogue initiated in LIVRO TELEFONE RUA (2022), which engaged with the work of this major contemporary thinker (taking THE TELEPHONE BOOK, 1989, as its foundation). The link between sound/literature/philosophy is reactivated in the present project. The focus falls on modalities of the global across various spheres of language, creation, and life (with an emphasis on economy, war, and technoculture), involving the contemporary arts of music, poetry, and performance.
It targets the mappings of crime and generalized trafficking across satellites–suburbs–peripherized centers, shaped by the recurring, often hidden flows of planetarization, wherever and whenever they may arise. GLOBAL WAR SUBURB SATELLITE inhabits dimensions of a sidereal poiesis, charged with inventive, experimental voltage. Simultaneously, it explores the reverberations of brutalist politics, the blockage of borders, and the death of sociality—as deployed by strategies of domination and terror through informational homogenization, falsification, and the withering of the world’s collective potential.
A Logistics-Rhetoric of War comes into confrontation with the vitalist strand of a conceptual-compositional symphony of singing, poetic, performative, and sonic signs.

Si tratta di una proposta didattica che affronta questioni riguardanti lo studio della ritmica attraverso riflessioni storiche sul linguaggio musicale, focalizzate su esigenze quali tempo, ritmo, durata, suddivisione, proporzioni metriche, misurazione, ortografia di diversi gradi di determinazione che la notazione tradizionale richiede e come possono essere messe in discussione. Dagli emisferi temporali Chronos (tempo misurabile) e Kairós (tempo non misurabile), abbiamo sviluppato una vasta serie di esercizi ritmici volti a superare e sperimentare innumerevoli contesti di lettura e decodifica di metriche non convenzionali, spesso presenti in culture in cui il i tempi metrici sono stati costruiti senza i canoni accademici.
This is an educational proposal that addresses issues regarding the study of rhythm through historical reflections on musical language, focusing on requirements such as tempo, rhythm, duration, subdivision, metric proportions, measurement, and the orthography of varying degrees of determination required by traditional notation and how they can be challenged. From the temporal hemispheres of Chronos (measurable time) and Kairós (non-measurable time), we have developed an extensive series of rhythmic exercises aimed at overcoming and experiencing countless contexts of reading and decoding non-conventional metrics, often found in cultures where metric timings were constructed outside of academic canons.

Partindo dos hemisférios temporais Chronos (tempo metrificável) e Kairós (tempo não metrificável), elaboramos uma extensa série de exercícios rítmicos voltados para a superação e vivências de inúmeros contextos de leituras e decodificações de métricas não convencionais, muitas vezes presentes em culturas nas quais os tempos métricos são construídos livres dos cânones acadêmicos.

Reflexão sobre o espaço poético propiciado pela performance de agora. A partir da produção ensaística e poética de Mauricio Salles Vasconcelos, e com foco sobre dois trabalhos desdobrados de seu livro Ar livre, “Livro/Telefone/Rua” – uma ópera estenofônica – e “Ato/Ambulante”, investiga-se o campo relacional que as dinâmicas do livro e dos eventos-performance vêm implementando entre literatura, filosofia, música, tecnologia, urbanismo, ecologia.
A reflection on the poetic space fostered by contemporary performance. Drawing from the essayistic and poetic production of Mauricio Salles Vasconcelos, and focusing on two works derived from his book Ar livre—the stenophonic opera “Livro/Telefone/Rua” and “Ato/Ambulante”—this study investigates the relational field that the dynamics of the book and performance-events have been implementing between literature, philosophy, music, technology, urbanism, and ecology.
